whats that? Ive made a new post on my blog, what the hell? 'No Gareth, your too busy' i hear you say, well, turns out im not and just too lazy to think of anything funny and my moto is 'If you dont have anything funny to say dont say anything at all...unless theres a fire or something, you can tell people about that coz thats pretty important'. Yes its a long moto but its better than some peoples, not the air force tho 'Who dares wins' I like that one and im pretty sure its the air force.
Motos are stange things to have arnt they coz if you have a bad one your screwd. Also i know from personal experiance that people dont often stick to them. I kinda have one which is to not pass up a good thing, which i know may not actualy be a moto and i know i have not listend to it many times. Only once i did i think, it all turned out well for a while but these things happen ya know. OK ill be back later, be good yall

Thats right, ergh! Work exp was shite but luckly, my birthday, I went out and got myself a new amp an effects pedal. Got me a nice little package thanks to fellow rocker Snave. Also I like I-pods, not coz their good, coz I dont know I cant aford one, no I like them coz of the adverts they manage to find really cool riffs for each ad, tho it would be helpful if they told me the name of the song and I exept the Vines suck, but the riff is cool. Anyway, the new one with the dancers is called walkie talkie man by steriogram and its a good song, who knows if it ha lastin appeal but who cares.
Also thanks to Josh I fancy a job in a music shop so im off to get me one.
err what else is there to say, um... nothing I dont think, ill be back later with more. tra xx

Public obligations

I dont have anything to post at the moment but I think im having withdrawal symptoms. Its ok for these magazine big shots who do a column a month or week or whatever, but me, I try to do something new every single day. I think my main problem here was when i first started this i used up alot of posts in one go, something like 4 a day and now im burned out. Also im aware this is becoming a kind of diary but that im not so botherd about coz its not like anyone reads this anyway.
K, today i think ill talk about animals. firstly, this mornin one of the first things to do was go and talk to a woman about her cat. The cat had been shot in the back with a pellet gun and been paralised so had to be put down. Now i know not everyone likes cats but thats no reason to shoot one. I also read in the local (rival) paper about a cat thrown from a moving car. What kind of people am I living amongst. Although i live just away from these insidents its still pretty much on my doorstep. How anyone can bring themself to hurt something and in this case kill it is beyond me. Im not a violent person but i cannot for the life of me understand how a person can bring themself to that, if they are able to kill a helpless animal it seems there is no limit to what they may do. These people should be imediatly castrated, or hung from said area, over a lawn mower... Or something similar.
There is however, a high point to animals. I have discoverd the coolest dog in the world. Its one very small ball of fluff. I have no idea what its called and im not usualy a fan of small dogs but this one is brilliant. Ill find out what bread it is and i'll post it on here later.

Mornin, i got the day off work today...well i gota go in at 12 ish but i dont think theres much work to do so i get to leave pretty early too so it might as well be a day off. Also its my birthday tomorrow (10th) but I dont think anyone has rememberd and im working then too anyway.
Oh yeah i remember what i wanted to talk about. Buses. Monday was my 1st day and the bus broke down at the airport so we had to wait for another one making me and everyone else late. The driver couldnt speek english so took a good 5 minutes explainin what ticket i wanted. On the way home it is always 10 minutes later than the advertised half past 5. The next day wasnt so bad but yesterday it was 15 minute late gettin to my stop for me to get on meanin i was late again! Not that anyone is botherd if im a bit late, its a very relaxed enviroment and not alot of work for me to do so theyr not botherd, but there are people going to collage in the mornings on the same bus as me, which by the way makes it very crouded on the small bus they give us. I have no point to this post really its just a moan about buses and although nothing origonal its something i felt like writin about

when I say shred what do you think of? paper shredders? the dude from turtles? think again! Stevie Vai, Yagwi Malmsteen, Joe Satrini and Paul Gilbert I mean. I was out of work around an hour early today so had to wait for the bus longer than normal so i picked myself up a total guitar mag. And it seems shred is back with ex maralin manson guitarist on the cover I knew somthing was goin on here. Dont let his manson like apearance and past dishearten you, this is a perfect place for you to get an introduction into shred before Satch blows your puny human minds with his awsome potato head skill (check out the video lesson he gives in issue 127 for total guitar for a small taster) Anyway, shred is back and John 5 is here to take the load off Paul Gilberts sholders, hes been holdin the fort alone for too long.

Well i'll tell you. Sexy dames thats what. I dont think ive ever noticed it before but in Tesco the otherday i realised a supermarket is a great place to meet women (I guess men too but i dont know) Anyway yeah, the thing is theres someone for everyone there, you like tall blonds? short brunetts? asian? chinese? african? fat ones, thin ones or a mix of all the above then your local supermarket has them (not in stock you must understand though so dont go asking at the meat counter) The great thing is theres plenty of things to talk about to someone or some easy way of introducing yourself without havin to think of some chat up line.
Also id like to talk about pregnant women....their everywhere! You cant fart without it landing on a pregant women. I have no problem with it.... well ok i kinda do on a certain level but thats not my point here. Ive just noticed alot of them....I'll save my opinions on pregnancy and releted topics for another day

Well ok, were not gona change history but thats true of any band today. It has all been done before so all we can do now is try and do it better. Anyway, yeah, Asphalt Strike still has no members and technicaly no songs of their own but thanks to co-founder, the speed-tastic Huckleberry Snave and myself we have some kick ass riffs intros and lyrics. To tell you the truth I havent got round to finishing anything I start so we have about 5 songs half done but I dont see the rush considering they wont be completly finished until we get a bass and drums in there (things i dont really know anything about) and we wont be playing them until that happens either... as well as a singer. I would sing if i could, but I cant so we need someone else.

Back to school this mornin ergh. Work exp for the next 2 weeks though, who knows how thats gona turn out. Anyway, yeah, i need a topic for todays post...school? na kinda obvious....work...naa.....hmmm..... giant snails?
If there were really giant snails they wouldnt be anything to be scared of would they? you would just roll out a few tons of salt in some trucks and lay it in their path, though if it hapend in movie world they would be able to make is last 2 hours somehow. Anyway, think of the shells they would leave behind, you could probably stick some amenaties in it and give all the homeless people a place to live. Also it could feed the french for about 10 years, though if it did get made into a film we couldnt call it 'war of the snails' or somethin coz the french dont win wars....ahh the magic of film

If you dont get me here go and watch the Jack Black diary on the School of Rock DVD or download Tenatious D live doing the Spiderman theme (not for sencitve ears). Honest to God my face is hurting and I think im getting a headache....and im not a lover of 'toilet' type humor but his stupid ramblings are hilarious. And then theres the song tribute, and the video, all stupid and very Jack Black. Not so much a fan of his acting abilities...or singing... but as a general funny guy hes great!
Speeking of 'tribute'. Dave Grohl! The man must be the hardest workin man on the planet. So this column is a tribute (eh, eh...?) to Dave for being one of the coolest and most hard rocking guys in music and a slap in the face to Jack for being a prat... but their both good prizes...

In responce to my hate mail to Batman I have decided to create my own hero, Dober-Man. Half man half dog...or something...Swinging from tall buildings by his extendable leash's, calling to his super hero friends though coded wolf wistles and bark's, using his razor sharp teeth and dog breath to knock out bad guys with ease... I 'spose he could stick to walls somehow too...everyone in super hero world seems to be able to do that...

Worst 'hero' ever. He's not even a hero is he? Just Bill Gates in a cape. He has trouble beating a midget with an umbrella for christ sake. I dont so much have a problem with the old TV show, that was too camp to be taken seriously (BAM! SPLOGE! KAROO!). It's the films and comics i hate. HE DOESNT HAVE ANY POWERS!! It's a policeman in fancy dress. And how many sidekicks does he want? Robbin, Batgirl, the buttler (was catwoman good or bad?). Oh jeez, he has that stupid car and his name doesnt even have illiteration! 'Bruce' 'Wayne'....what!? Peter Parker, Clark Kent (kinda), Matt Merdoc, Bruce Banner etc. Real super heros have illiteration. I hate Batman!!

What is the point of chain mail? Seriously now, what is the point! Firstly, I will not die or become seriously ill if I do not send it to 50 people in 25 seconds neither will close family or friends, why? Because that crap does not happen!! Secondly, they are boring, damn hell bloody crap balls boring. And thats it, either think of something funny to put in them or just dont bother. Who and why the hell do people start these things? Go get a puppy or something, trust me its much more fun that thinking of cruddy chain mail stories about people who die because of something stupid their great great uncle did in a previous life or whatever. Fingerless Gloves

What is the point of fingerless gloves, sure they look cool but they arnt very practical are they? For one they make the end of your fingers feel twice as cold. I know this from the gloves I used to use in Rugby, they really did little else but look cool. So as accessories i can understand people wearing them (Anthony Kiedis) but to keep warm? No chance.

Local shop Cola is around 35p per 2ltr bottle. This always amazes me when next to it is a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola for 80p.... thats it really, they taste kinda different sure but local shop isnt horrible is it? Why people buy things because of Celeb indorcment is beyond me. Beckhams on Pepsi, Santa is on Coke, George Forman and his grill (it is a good grill mind you) Celebs dont make me buy things! James Nesbit on the yellow pages! We dont even buy them and yet they need to employ a famous actor to advertise it. Companys please take note, we dont want Celebs on adverts!
Also on the topic of advertising... why are adverts for alchohl much better than every other? The WKD ads are hilarious and Budwizer ads will forever be the best ever ads (wazup, American Hero's, the frogs etc).
Still on adverts, why do I have to pay for them? Sky im talking about, why should I pay my subscription to watch adverts every 15 mins! I'll tell you why, coz they show Happy Days! Other than that though, no reason!

Summer Holidays suck!....I cant leave it at that can I? Okay, they suck coz their so smeggin boring... look what they've made me do, ive actualy used the word 'smeggin' crud. Cartoon Sitcoms

What is the point of cartoon sitcoms? I dont mean like the Simpsons or Family Guy or whatever, i mean things like King of the Hill. First, its a horrible show but thats not the issue coz obviously some people like it. No, my point is, its just cartoons doin what people do so what im sayin is why isnt it live action not animated?
There are no stupid stunts (anvil on head/crocodile wrestling) so why bother going to all the trouble to animate. Surly it would be easier and more than likely cheaper to do it with real people?

Ever been to or seen on telly a foreign sporting event? A country that doesn’t speak English im talking about (im presuming you speak English if you’re reading this) well, what puzzles me is when the foreigners score a cheer of ‘YEAAAA’ comes from the support….surly this word would be different for say, the French, shouldn’t the cheer be ‘WEEEEEEE’ for the French…?

While cutting a tree in my garden recently it occured to me that trees can think. Picture it, its a calm sunny day, im up a tree, no one else around....the ladder falls over. What! was is the old guy accross the street sitting in his garage? corse not, he can barly walk....so who? YES! the damn tree! It wasnt enough for this tree to leave me with thorn marks all over my arms and face, it had to kick (?) my ladder over. Well i did the only think i could do and whiped out my saw and cut the bugger some more. Luckely i servived my encounter and im here to warn you all....do not piss off the trees!
